Update: I can access the extended save menu at the second save point, just before meeting Tifa. I've double checked that it isn't the Combat Only version and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mod.Īnyone have a similar issue they managed to resolve? Not sure if any of the other changes are in effect yet. Looks like it's just the ability to pick A or B or the extended save point menu. Enemies hit harder and take a few more hits to kill. However, Cloud and Barret still have their new abilities, Cloud's Defend-Counters and Barret's innate attack-all and buff on hit. And there doesn't seem to be any expanded save point option, though I've only tried the first save point in the first reactor. It isn't giving me any prompt to select Mode A or Mode B. The only issue seems to be New Threat 2.0. Soundtrack enhanced, field and battle models altered, backgrounds in HD, Frame rates at or around 60 FPS. So, I've got the game installed on Steam Deck.
